一番思い出深いのは島の真ん中にある滝へ行った時のことだ。この滝へ行くには山道を４，５時間歩かなくてはたどりつけない。往復１０時間である。道と呼べるような道ではなく、歩く人がいることで踏み固められただけの山道である。途中川も渡らなければいけないのだが、ヒルがいるので、その度に血を吸われる。そうやって苦労してたどり着いた滝は本当に美しく滝の水も最高においしかったことを今でもはっきりと覚えている。滝の水がきれいなので、近くの川で川海老を取り、持ち帰って素揚げして食べたら最高だった。

The place where I was impressed most was when I went to the fall that is located in the middle of the island. I had to walk on the path in the mountain for 4 or 5 hours to go to the fall. It means 10 hours for round trip. It is not a path that we usually call, and it was a path that was made when people walk on it.
I had to cross the river on the way, but there was a leech and my blood was sucked when I walked there. I still remember clearly that the fall I had reached after overcoming the difficult spots was absolutely beautiful and water in the fall tasted so good. As the water in the fall is beautiful, I caught a river shrimp in the river near it and brought it home.
I fried it and it was very good.
