ミズキ：「よし、終わった！」

　マユミの言いつけどおり、城の廊下の窓を全て拭き掃除した。
　眠気はあるが、凍え死にしないように起き続けるのとは達成感が違う。
　とても清々しい気分で、目に沁みる朝陽も全く気にならなかった。

ナツメ：「ふぁ～………こっちも終わったよ～………」

　ナツメが大欠伸をしながら、廊下の向こうからやってくる。

ミズキ：「ごめんな、手伝わせて」

ナツメ：「ううん。でも、大丈夫？　僕は非番だからこのあと眠れるけど………」

ミズキ：「平気だって！」

英語

Mizuki : “alright, I’m done.”

He finished cleaning all the windows in the hallway of the palace as he was told to, by Mayumi. He was sleepy but, he felt more of an achievement compared with staying up not to die by freezing to death. He felt refreshed this morning and the glaring sunshine did not bother him at all.

Natsume : “Phew…, I’m also done.”
Natsume was coming down the hallway with a big yawn.

Mizuki : “Sorry that I made you go through this.”

Natsume: “Nah, but are you alright? It’s my day off today so I can go to bed right away."

Mizuki : “I’ll be fine!”
