ミズキ：「よし、終わった！」

　マユミの言いつけどおり、城の廊下の窓を全て拭き掃除した。
　眠気はあるが、凍え死にしないように起き続けるのとは達成感が違う。
　とても清々しい気分で、目に沁みる朝陽も全く気にならなかった。

ナツメ：「ふぁ～………こっちも終わったよ～………」

　ナツメが大欠伸をしながら、廊下の向こうからやってくる。

ミズキ：「ごめんな、手伝わせて」

ナツメ：「ううん。でも、大丈夫？　僕は非番だからこのあと眠れるけど………」

ミズキ：「平気だって！」

英語

Mizuki: "All right, I'm done!"

Just as Mayumi had instructed, he scrubbed every window in the castle corridor.
He was sleepy, but his tireless work, as if he was fending off freezing to death, gave him more than just a sense of accomplishment.
As the the morning sun greeted him, he felt completely refreshed.

Natsume: "Pheeew... All done here, too..."

Letting out a deep sigh of relief, he headed down the corridor.

Mizuki: "Sorry to have pulled you into this."

Natsume: "No problem. But are you sure about this? Me being off-duty, and then heading off to bed..."

Mizuki: "It'll be fine!"
