私は、日本の消費税増税に対して、否定的です。北欧のような２０％もの増税をすることによって、国が社会保障に使えるお金が増え、我々の生活がよくなる可能性があることは理解しています。

しかし、今の若い人たち（主に20代）の生活を見て考えよう。
働く知人の話を聞く限り、月にもらっている給料は、税金や保険料などを差し引くと、月収は20万程度であることが多い。これは国税庁からのデータからも明らかであり、20代の平均を見ると248万から344万と、月収で20万から30万に満たないとわかる。

I disagree with the idea of raising consumption tax in Japan. By increasing the tax by 20%, I understand the amount of money which the government can use for the social security will increase, so there is a possibility to be able to improve our quality of life.
