作者紹介：もとのぶきみひさ
1944年福島県郡山市生まれ。グラフィックデザイナーを経て、フリーのイラストレーターとなる。イラストレーション、絵本、版画、装幀デザイン等で活躍。これまでに多数の絵本を出版している。1990年、「シマウマだけどウサギ」(くもん出版)でボローニャ国際児童図書展グラフィック賞を受賞。

Introduction of the author: Motonobu, Kimihisa

Born in 1944 in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture. After activity as a graphic artist, became a free-lance illustrator. Now actively producing illustrations, picture books, bookbinding design, etc. Especially he published many picture books, and won a graphic division award of Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 1990 for his book “Zebra + Rabbit? Zebrabbit”, Kumon Publishing Co.
