私は父が生きている間、親孝行をしてあげたかった。父が敷いたレールをたどった人生を歩みたくはなかった。　彼の言うとおりにしていれば　私は幸せだったかもしれない。

I wanted to be filial to my father while he was alive. I didn't wanted to live my life following the path set by my father. I might have been happy if I did as he said.
