パシフィコ横浜は６月、国内ＭＩＣＥ施設で初めてとなる「展示会の利便性を高めるスマートフォン向けアプリ」の本格導入に向けた実証実験を行なった。
国際会議開催件数国内１位として多くの外国人参加者があるパシフィコ横浜は、利用満足度を高めるために、現在、館内の「無料高速無線ＬＡＮ（Ｗｉ-Ｆｉ）」エリアを拡充するなどデジタルネットワーク環境整備を進めている。それに併せて、「主催者」「出展者」「来場者」の施設利用を支援するため、今回のスマートフォン向けアプリの開発に着手した。
In June, Pacifico Yokohama did a mock experiment leading to the first implementation of the"smartphone app that will make exhibition experiences more convenient" in a national MICE facility.
Pacifico Yokohama hosts the most international conferences in the country, and has a large number of foreign visitors. In order for them to have a satisfying experience, they currently are improving their digital network environment by providing free WIFI. In addition to this, they are working on developing this smartphone app to support the organizer, exhibitors, and visitors.
