unlockedの端末と説明されているのにキャリアのロックがかかっていて電話として機能しません。unlockedと記載するのであれば、unlockedの処理をした状態でebayに出品すべきです。また電池カバーが壊れていました。新品同様と記載すべきではないです。使い物にならないので返品します。返金してください。

The condition of the device was explained unlocked and nearly new.
However, the device had the SIM locked and didn’t work as a phone.
You should have unlocked it before listing at eBay as you explained.
The battery cover was broken and was far from being nearly new.
