私が商品を受け取ったとき箱がつぶれていました。
商品の輸送中に箱の上に重いものが載ったからかもしれません。
私は仕事の都合で忙しく、箱を開ける時間がありませんでした。
ようやく仕事が落ち着いたので、箱を開けたところ商品がつぶれていました。
そのためにご連絡までに時間がかかってしまいました。

When I received the item, the box was collapsed.
I guess it maybe because there were heavy items on top of it in transit.
I was quite tied up by my work and I didn't have time to unbox it.
As my work getting settled down, I opened the box to find the item was collapsed.
This is why it took time to contact you.
