在留カードへの更新申請について【特別永住者以外の外国人住民の方】
平成24年7月9日に外国人登録法が廃止されたことに伴い，中長期在留者（特別永住者以外の方）の方にはこれまでの「外国人登録証明書」にかわり「在留カード」が交付されることとなりました。
お持ちの「外国人登録証明書」については一定期間，「在留カード」とみなされます。
「外国人登録証明書（みなし在留カード）」をお持ちの方の更新手続きについては，大阪入国管理局で手続きを行う必要があります。
About application for residence card [For foreign national residents except for special permanent residents]
As the result of abolishment of Alien Registration Law on July 9th, 2012, residence card was started to be issued for foreign nationals residing in Japan for the mid-to long-term (except for special permanent residents), in lieu of the alien registration certificate.
For a certain period of time, your "alien registration certificate" is deemed to be "residence card".
Renewal for those who have "alien registration certificate (deemed resident card)", please file renewal application at Osaka Immigration Bureau.
