部品や道具の配置が悪いために生じる余分な動作や、作業中に必要な道具を探したり取りに行ったりするムダをいう。仕事がやりにくい原因となる。

不良により加工に要した時間が全くムダになり、生産を阻害してしまう。
不良品が工程内で発見できずに市場に出てしまった場合、不良製品のために失った客の信用は、金で買う事が出来ない。

This denotes unnecessary processing which does not add anything to the progress of the production process or the precision of the product.
This is wastefulness which arises due to badly positioned parts of the product or the utensils, when it is necessary to look for the necessary utensils or having to move in order to get them during the process of work. It is a reason why the work might become difficult.

Because of inferior quality the time spent for production is completely wasted and this can become an obstacle to production.
If the product of an inferior quality is not discovered during the production process and is released into the market, it is no longer possible to regain the trust of customers which would be lost because of such inferior product even if you spend money on this.
