工程の進みや加工品の精度などに何ら寄与しない不必要な加工を行う事をいう。
部品や道具の配置が悪いために生じる余分な動作や、作業中に必要な道具を探したり取りに行ったりするムダをいう。仕事がやりにくい原因となる。

不良により加工に要した時間が全くムダになり、生産を阻害してしまう。
不良品が工程内で発見できずに市場に出てしまった場合、不良製品のために失った客の信用は、金で買う事が出来ない。

It means that it is an unnecessary action caused by bad arrangements of parts and tools, and a waste of time to search and go to take tools required for works. It is the cause of work difficulties.

The time spent for processing become a waste due to its failure that hinders a production.
We cannot buy trust of customers by money if we lose it by marketed defective products which is not found in the procedure.
