For bleeding the air in the circuit, inject diesel in the circuit upstream of the pump, either in the bleed screw, or in the fuel filter inlet

To facilitate the air bleeding, it is recommended to fill new fuel in the fuel filter housing when replacing the fuel filter

Run at full throttle and start the engine

If the engine stalls, wait for 5 to 7 seconds before restarting

Check for leaks on the air bleed screw and the water bleed screw

How to find vacuum leaks in your fuel system

If your vehicle starts and stalls immediately, you probably have an air leak in the diesel circuit upstream of the injection pump
