東京観光財団は12月11日、同財団の会議室で「平成26年度第２回コンベンション委員会」を開催。二条城京都市元離宮二条城事務所担当課長の梅林信彦氏と、京都文化交流コンベンションビューロー国際観光コンベンション部長の赤星周平氏が登壇し、京都におけるユニークベニューの取組みと活用事例などを紹介した。

梅林氏は、世界遺産であり多数の国宝や重要文化財をもつ二条城をMICE会場として開放することによって、日本の魅力を国内外に発信するという「世界遺産・二条城MICEプラン」事業の目的を語った

Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) helded "2nd Convention Commission in 2014" at 11th, December, at their conference room in Tokyo.
The chief of The Kyoto City Culture and Citizenz Affairs Bereau, Nijo Castle Office, Nobuhiko UMEBAYASHI and the global-tourisim-convention-manager of Kyoto Convention Bureau, Shuhei AKAHOSHI introduced the "unique-venue" activities and examples in Kyoto.

UMEBAYASHI told the audience the goal of "World Heritate Site Nijo Castle MICE plan" project, which they will appeal Japan to the home and the world by using Nijo Castle, which is one of the world heritage site and has lots of national treasures and important cultural propaties, as the MICE venue.
