The application itself is free, but only the content from the Taisho era is available to start. If you’d like access to the material from the Meiji period, it requires 1200 yen (about $15)

Ideally I’d like to see an application like this make all its contents available for free, especially when you consider its value in areas like education. But regardless of price, it’s good to see such material make the jump to digital form — hopefully ensuring that it will remain with us for a very long time into the future.

このアプリ自体は無料だが、大正時代の記事からしか開始することが出来ない。明治時代の記事を読みたい場合は、1200円（約15ドル）が必要となる。

このようなアプリは、特に教育分野などで役立つことを考えると、全ての記事を無料で入手出来れば理想的である。
だが、値段に関わらず、こうした資料がデジタル形式へと飛躍的に進歩を遂げるのはいいことだ。今後も末永く、我々のもとに残り続けることを保証してくれるだろう。
