ある東京の企業家から「アメリカにある工場で開発をやらせてあげる」という話が舞い込み、着々とその準備を進めていた。
ところが、最後の最後になって、「死んでも一緒にやりましょう」と言っていたデザインの仲間たちが突然降りてしまう。これで折角の計画は空中分解。落胆して、ひさしぶりに妻子の待つ名古屋の家に帰ってみると、「もう疲れました」という置手紙を残し、妻は子供を連れて実家に帰ってしまっていた。

茫然自失。あてもなく、パソコンだけ買い、深夜バスに乗り込んで東京に出てきた。くだんの企業家に無理に頼み込み、ＨＰの制作を請け負う仕事を紹介してもらった。報酬はあったが、「俺はもう死んでもいい」というやさぐれた感情から路上生活を選んだ。報酬は１万円を残し妻に送金。せめてもの償いだった。

紹介で毎月10社程度から仕事が舞い込んだ。そんな生活が2年に及ぶころ、転機が訪れた。

あるウェブ制作会社に、「毎月、固定報酬で継続して仕事をくれないか」と頼んだことがキッカケだった。

He found himself in a stupor. He just purchased a personal computer and got on an overnight bus bound for Tokyo. He forcibly asked the entrepreneur in question to give him a job making homepages. Even though he had an income, he chose to live on the streets as he was ready to die, feeling desperate. He sent all his salary except for 10,000 yen to his wife. That was all he could do to make it up to her.

Thanks to the entrepreneur’s introduction, he received works from about 10 companies every month. After living like hat for about 2 years, he faced a turning point.

This happened after he asked some web production company for a job with a fixed monthly salary.
