2008年の夏、世界を舞台に活躍するアーティストを目指し、アメリカ、中国などで海外生活経験のあるメンバーを含めたメンバーで構成された7人組グループ、U-KISS(ユー・キス)。U-KISSという名は、先端を意味するユビキタスの頭文字「U」と、英語でいう「あなた」の「YOU」を指し、あなたとキスをという言葉につながる「KISS」は「Korean International Idol Superstar」という意味を持っている。

U-KISS is a seven-member group, which was formed in the summer of 2008, aiming to be active around the world. They include members that have lived in the U.S., China, etc. The "U" of the their group name stands for "ubiquitous," meaning "being everywhere" and "you." The "kiss" is the word in the expression "I kiss you" and also stands for "Korean International Idol Superstar."
