Some new laws restrict the types of information that apps can share with companies. This is due to worries about access to personal information. Yet experts say that some sharing is necessary. Information sharing allows users to quickly locate old friends, classmates and the products they want to buy. If apps cannot share information sharing will probably go on for a long time. Meanwhile, the popularity of apps continues to grow, even though people's personal information may be used by others.
