税関でチェックされた事に因るダメージではありません。
保管方法が雑であったが為に、製品パッケージに著しいダメージがある。ひどいものはパッケージに記載されている型番が間違っている。これは入れ替えた際等に間違えたのでしょう。

貴方の基準では、これは問題がないのかもしれません。しかし、米国の大手の時計店では、この品質はあり得ないし、日本でも受け入れられる事はないでしょう。

PayPalにチャージバックを申請するのは非常に面倒なので、なるべく穏便に解決したいと思っています。

It is not a damage due to the fact that it was checked by customs.
Since the storage method was complex, there is significant damage to the product package. The terrible thing is that the model number listed on the package is wrong. This might probably be a mistake when the product was being replaced.

This might not be a problem with your standards. However, this kind of quality does not exist in leading watch store in the US and it is also unacceptable even in Japan.

It is extremely complicated to apply for a charge back in PayPal so I hope we can resolve this peacefully.
