税関でチェックされた事に因るダメージではありません。
保管方法が雑であったが為に、製品パッケージに著しいダメージがある。ひどいものはパッケージに記載されている型番が間違っている。これは入れ替えた際等に間違えたのでしょう。

貴方の基準では、これは問題がないのかもしれません。しかし、米国の大手の時計店では、この品質はあり得ないし、日本でも受け入れられる事はないでしょう。

According to the check at customs, there was no damage at the customs office.
