税関でチェックされた事に因るダメージではありません。
保管方法が雑であったが為に、製品パッケージに著しいダメージがある。ひどいものはパッケージに記載されている型番が間違っている。これは入れ替えた際等に間違えたのでしょう。

貴方の基準では、これは問題がないのかもしれません。しかし、米国の大手の時計店では、この品質はあり得ないし、日本でも受け入れられる事はないでしょう。

PayPalにチャージバックを申請するのは非常に面倒なので、なるべく穏便に解決したいと思っています。

The damage found on the shipped product is apparently not due to the customs check. It must be because of some rough storing conditions.
At times the package has a wrong product code, which prolly comes from a mistake made during packaging.

You might think that it cannot be helped, just a mistake. Yet, things like this are for sure unacceptable for major US watch stores, much less Japanese ones.

I know it is quite cumbersome to ask PayPal to refund. I would like to settle the problem between us, as softly as possible.
