Someday, I hope someone will place a living, breathing, crying and screaming seconds-old person in my arms and tell me that here, in real life, is the someone I have created, that here, in my arms, is the manifestation of every dream and every nightmare that I’ve been living under the past nine months.

That here is the manifestation of everything so far. That here, in my arms, is another beginning. That here, so enamored of me as I am of him, is the beginning of next great adventure.

I hope that someday I can love some little someone as feverishly and as all-encompassing as my mother loves me. I hope that someday I can give that gift to my little someone.

Espero que algún día alguien deje en mis brazos una personita que apenas tenga dos segundos de vida y esté respirando, llorando, gritando. Que me diga que aquí, es real, es alguien que yo cree. Que aquí en mis brazos está la manifestación de cada sueño y pesadilla que he vivido durante estos últimos 9 meses.
