The mass air flow sensor is mounted between the air filter of the engine and the inlet manifold
It sends the ECU a varying DC voltage signal corresponding to the mass of air entering the engine
This mass air flow sensor has a connector with four wires
The 2 wires which interest us are the ground wire and the wire which sends the ECU the information of mass of air
The signal is measured with a multimeter (20V DC voltage)
