日本展示会協会人材育成委員会は４月21日、産経新聞社会議室で「第１回人材育成セミナー」を開催。業界の若手社員など約42人が出席した。

日本展示会協会会長の石積氏は「日本経済発展の切り札、それは展示会（国際見本市）」と題し講演を行なった。

講演では、展示会は大きな経済波及効果や国際競争力向上の効果があることを「スマートエネルギーWeek2014」を例に具体的な数字を挙げて解説した。また、日本の経済発展のため新規展示会の立ち上げと大規模展示会場の建設などが必要であることを説明した。

On April 21, Japan Exhibition Association of Human Resource Development Committee held "The 1st Human Resource Development Seminar" in the conference room at Sankei Newspaper. About 42 people attended there, including young industry members.

Mr. Ishizumi, president of Japan Exhibition Association, gave a speech entitled "Ace of Japanese Economic Development - That's Exhibitions (International Trade Fairs)" .

In this speech, he explained with specific figures, using "Smart Energy Week 2014" as a model case, that exhibitions are very effective means to trigger economic ripple effect and enhance international competency. He also added that it is required to launch new exhibitions and build large exhibition halls.
