The length of the self-defense knife is appxoximatively 30 cm, the same as that of the dagger.

As for the recommended knife, it depends on your preference.

When we create a katana(sword), we ask (speaking of a sword for Iai-Do), to customers the length and thickness as well as the poistion of the center of gravity and the preference of blade pattern.

If you do not have special preference, I recommend you a sword of 74cm with the blade pattern called ●●.

The center of the gravity is adjusted not to biase the balance.
