東京スカイツリーは、およそ3万7000本もの鉄骨を組み合わせて造られています。
その総質量はなんと3 万6000t。
スカイツリーの足元を支える柱の鉄骨のなかで、最大のものは直径2.3ｍ、厚さ10ｃｍ、長さ4ｍにもなります。

これだけの量の鉄骨を約2年という短い期間に集中して供給するため、日本の主要鉄鋼メーカーと鉄鋼加工業者が力を合わせました。

日本各地で造られた鉄柱は、次々と建設現場に運び込まれます。

Tokyo sky Tree is built by combining as many as about 37,000 steel frames.
The total weight is as heavy as 36,000 tons.
Among the steel frames of pillar that support foot of the Tree, the largest is 2.3 meters in diameter, １０ centimeters in thickness and 4 meters in length.

To provide this volume of steel frame in period as short as about 2 years by concentrating, major steel makers and steel processors in Japan cooperated.

The steel pillar produced in each part of japan has been carried into construction site one after another.
