いろいろなテーマで東京を撮影した写真マガジン
私が生まれたのは東京オリンピックの前年の1963年。
この時代から新幹線や東京タワーが建設されて高度経済成長期に入って行く。東京の下町に生まれた私の子供の頃にはあらゆるところで工事の杭打ちの大き な音が聞こえ、古い住宅は壊されてビルになり、海や川を埋めて道路を造ったりする景色が見られた。その東京は20代から写真家を志した私には最高のモチーフ。30年間にわたりさまざまなテーマで記録した。

Picture Magazine on which the scenes of Tokyo were taken with many themes

The year I was born was 1963, a year before the Tokyo Olympic.
Since this time, Japan had got into the era of high economic growth, such as expressway was implemented and Tokyo Tower was built. In my childhood in the downtown area in Tokyo, I heard loud noise of construction piling everywhere, and I saw the scenes of the old houses demolished to build buildings and the sea and rivers reclaimed to make roads. That Tokyo was the best motif for me who aspired to be a photographer. I have photographed Tokyo with many themes for 30 years.
