いろいろなテーマで東京を撮影した写真マガジン
私が生まれたのは東京オリンピックの前年の1963年。
この時代から新幹線や東京タワーが建設されて高度経済成長期に入って行く。東京の下町に生まれた私の子供の頃にはあらゆるところで工事の杭打ちの大き な音が聞こえ、古い住宅は壊されてビルになり、海や川を埋めて道路を造ったりする景色が見られた。その東京は20代から写真家を志した私には最高のモチーフ。30年間にわたりさまざまなテーマで記録した。

The magazine with pictures shot in various themes. I was born in 1963; one year before the Tokyo Olympic. From this time, Japan’s period of rapid economic growth after WWII had begun. When I was child, I had heard the bid sound of piling work anywhere; I say the old residences were broken down to be new buildings and sea and rivers were reclaimed to make roads. That age in Tokyo was the best motif for me having set my face to be a photographer. I shot sceneries to record the history of Tokyo for over 30 years.
