梅津泰臣氏が原案と監督をしています。梅津監督というと、OVA「メガゾーン23/PartⅡ」や「KATE」など絵柄的に強めのキャライメージが強いのですが、今作品のキャラはそれに比べるとゆるめで少しかわいらしくなっているな、と感じました。
