このペンのペン先は普通の万年筆のペン先をペンチで上向きに曲げたような独特の形状をしており、ペン先を立て気味で書くと細い筆跡となり、寝かせて書くと太めの筆跡になる。角度による筆跡の変化を把握するまでちょっと戸惑うかもしれない。この特徴を活かし、文字筆記だけではなく、最近はイラスト等の描画用に大変人気となっている。文字を書くとなると人によって好みがかなり分かれる製品かと思うが、セーラーの中ではロングセラー品であり愛好者は多い。紺色の曲げ角度４０度タイプと緑色の５５度タイプがある
