「どうしてそう思うのか」などを丁寧に聞いてあげてください。

I have acknowledged a communication issue with Tuyen. I will be happy if you have no issue to proceed the project he planned.

In my opinion, he seems to be a type of a person who does not speak out his feelings or opinions so much. So when you talk to him, please ask him direct and clear questions like " what makes you think so? " rather than simple ones?
