Comparing Facebook’s Size with Japan, Indonesia and Asia

Facebook’s growth never fails to amaze us. Over the years, the social network has slowly become the de facto network in most parts of the world.

Pingdom did a nice job comparing Facebook’s growth with similar size countries: Japan in 2008, Indonesia in 2009 and the number of Internet users in Asia in 2011. Now, imagine what would be the next few countries of comparison as Facebook grows larger. Perhaps India or China would be next as Facebook surges toward the billion users milestone.
