退院後、フォローアップできていない2人を除いた患者のフォローアップ期間は7～30カ月（平均17カ月）であった。症状が消失した患者は69人（88.5％）で、重篤な合併症が出現した患者はいなかった。軽度の聴力障害が残存した１人を除き、永続的な神経症状が残った患者はいなかった。

After the discharges, the follow-up periods of the patients except two whom we could not follow up were 7-30 months (an average of 17 months). In 69 patients their symptoms disappeared (88.5%) and in no patient did any serious complication appear. Except one with mild hearing impairment kept, there was no patient with a permanent neurologic symptom left.
