スポンジカバーが少しだけ通常の位置と違う所にあったので、

通常の位置に戻してみると、深い大きな傷が発見されました。

I noticed that the sponge cover was placed slightly different position from normal therefore I put it back to where it should be. Then I found a deep large scratch on the surface.
