Hi there,
While the prose is written well, I think you should take another look at the meaning OS 前後, literally before and after. The original text is suggesting that good service should be extended to the customer before they make their purchase and also after they make their purchase. This is different from saying that the customer is in the process of making a purchase.

I am divided on the use of "emotional connection". While it's a very creatively thought out translation of 感動, it might not be the best way to say this in a business document. I wonder if maybe "dazzle" or "impress" might not be a little more appropriate; that said other translators would likely disagree with "impress". I encourage you to look up the word in www.jdic.com, www. alc.co.jp, weblio.jp, and to also have a look at merriam-webster.com, or similar resource for the definitions of your favorite three translations of 感動 to really zero in on the best term.
