・現在, ミダゾラムの静注療法はわが国で治験中(アルフレッサファーマ社)である. EUでは2011年9月に口腔内投与が認められた. わが国でも早急な開発・承認が待ち望まれる. 「はじめに」てんかん重積状態(けいれん重積〕は, 「発作がある程度の長さ以上に続くか, または短い発作でも反復しその間意識の回復がないもの」とILAE(International League Against Epilepsy)(1981)で定義されている.

Currently, the intravenous-injection treatment for midazolam is undergoing clinical trial in our country. In EU, its oral administration was approved in September, 2011. Our country has been expecting its quick development and approval. Firstly, according to ILAE (International League Against Epilepsy) (1981), status epilepticus (status convulsions) is defined as convulsions that persist longer than a certain period, or short convulsions that repeat themselves with no recovery from unconsciousness during convulsions.
