Regarding the returning of the item, I gave it up from the start since I had to pay the full value of it (shipping included) to the Brazilian government in taxes as it is for all imports north of $50,00 US dollars (unrecoverable money). Still, keeping half of what I bought felt very bad business for me. And then realizing having just half of a set has no use for me.
Could you arrange with the company to send me only one mug to match the one I got, thus completing the set of 2 I had bought. It seems the optimal proper solution for this situation ("The shipping box or envelope isn’t damaged but the item is damaged").

商品の返送に関して、私は初めから諦めていました。なぜなら私はそれらすべて込みで５０アメリカドル相当の（戻ってこないお金）を輸入品であるという理由でブラジル政府に支払わなければならない（運送費込で）からです。でも私が購入したものを半分保留しているのは私にとっては良い取引だとは思えません。それで１セットの半分は私には無用だと気が付きました。わつぃが購入したものに合う一つのマグだけ私に送るように会社に交渉できませんか。そうすれば私が購入したセットの２個が揃います。この事態には最適な解決策だと思います。(輸送用の箱は損傷がありませんが商品が損傷を受けています。）
