当店が送った商品が破損していたそうで、大変ご迷惑をお掛けしました。
発送時には問題はありませんでしたので、輸送中の破損と考えられます。
輸送会社にご連絡をしましたが、残念ながらお届けからご連絡までの時間が掛かりすぎている為、弁償が出来ないとの返事を貰いました。
そこで、ご提案させて下さい。
返送するにも料金が発生します。
壊れた商品を戻されても双方に利益はありません。
そこで、半額を返金させて戴きますので、
それで納得して戴けませんか？

We are sorry to hear that the item you have received was damaged.
It is considered that it was damaged during shipping since we confirmed no damage upon shipping.
We inquired to the carrier service. They told me that they were sorry to hear but they could not compensate the damage since it had passed a long.
Hence, I would like to suggest something.
Return generates an expense and it does not make any benefit for both of us.
In view of this, would you not be satisfied if we refund a half of the amount you paid?
