日本政府観光局は5月17日、品川プリンスホテルで「ムスリム・ツーリズムセミナー」を開催。

インバウンド関係者の注目を集めているインドネシアやマレーシアからのムスリム層の訪日旅行者誘致をテーマに講演を行なう。

JNTO担当者がムスリム層の旅行最新動向を紹介するほか、両国の旅行会社の代表者がムスリム旅行者の特性などを説明する。

日本とアセアンの交流40周年となる今年、観光庁とＪＮＴＯでは「東南アジア・訪日１００万人プラン」を掲げて訪日促進に取組んでおり、同セミナーはその一環。

On May 17th, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will play host to "Muslim Tourism Seminar" at Shinagawa Prince Hotel.

There will be a lecure about how to attract Muslim tourists to Japan, focusing on Indonesia and Malaysia, which inbound tourism parties are paying close attention.

JNTO wll also explain about recent traveling trends in Muslim tourists, and both Indonesian and Malaysian tourism companies will explain about the characteristics of Muslin tourists.

This seminar is a part of the "Plan to attract 1 million people to Japan from South Eastern Asia," to attract more tourists to Japan by Japan Tourism Agency and JNTO, in accordance to the 40th anniversary of intercourse between Japan and Asean.
