This pipe is in good condition except for the scorching on the front of the bowl that I have mentioned and attempted to picture. There is one other apparent issue. My father carried his pipes in his back pocket and occasionally would forget they were there and sit on them. This of course resulted in a broken pipe. My father would then repair them. I believe this may have been a repaired pipe. While I cannot see any glue residue, I cannot remove the mouthpiece/ stem from the bowl. I believe my father may have glued these together after an accident resulted in the stem being broken.

説明と写真で示した火皿の前面の焦げ以外は状態の良いパイプです。その他に一つ見てわかるような問題点があります。私の父が後ろのポケットにパイプを入れて持ち歩いていて、たまにパイプを入れているのを忘れてそのまま座ってしまうことがありました。これは、もちろんパイプを壊してしまうという結果になり、そうすると父が修理しました。これも修理されたパイプだと思います。糊の跡が見えずに吸い口／柄が火皿から取り外せないので、柄が壊れたアクシデントの後で父がそれらを一緒に糊付けしたんだと思います。
