親愛なるNathanへ

Nathan、貴方が沖縄に来てそろそろ半年が経ったでしょうか。この半年、楽しいことが沢山あったと思います。

最初、姉から貴方を紹介してもらった時に、「とても優しそうな人だな」と思ったことは、今でも昨日の事のように覚えています。それと同時に、正直「優し過ぎて大丈夫かな？」と心配になっったことも事実です。

しかし、姉を３０年以上見てきて、こんなに心が穏やかな日々を過ごしているのを見るのは初めてです。姉も努力していると思いますが、やはり貴方のおかげだと感じます。

Nathan, it must nearly be half a year since you came to Okinawa. We have had a lot of fun in that half a year.

I still remember thinking you seemed like a very nice person when my sister introduced me to you as though it was yesterday. At the same time, it's a fact that I worried you might be too nice.

However, this is the first time I have seen my sister living so tranquilly in over 30 years of observing her. I think my sister is working hard, too, but I feel that this must be thanks to you.
