The #9 of Mark and Ryan, would roll early on lap 2, stranding them on their lid for a while... they would continue and were up to 7th place in TT when the underdrive unit failed ending their day at mile 105 on the final lap less then 40 miles from the finish.

９番のマークとライアンは、２周目を早く走り抜ける筈でしたが、リッドのせいで立ち往生し、健闘しましたが、走行距離１０５マイルのあたり、最周回のちょうどゴール手前４０マイルでアンダー・ドライブ・ユニットにトラブルが発生し、その日はもう動けなくなりTTで７位に陥りました。
