現在の情報化社会におけるインターネットの医療情報の有効性・有用性は疑うところがなく、現在では患者様だけではなく、少しでも健康に不安のある方々の多くが、インターネットで医療情報を調べています。
しかし、インターネット上では、正しい情報、誤った情報、怪しい情報（健康弱者を狙ったビジネス目的など）が混在・氾濫しており、確かな情報を得ることが難しくなっており、情報を得る側が正しい情報を見抜く力を身につけることが喫緊の課題です。

There can be no doubt about the effectiveness and usefulness of the medical information on the Internet in our modern information-oriented society. Not only patients but also many of the people who are even a little concerned about their health do a search about the medical information.
However, all the right, wrong and suspect (including business purposes for people who have health concerns) information have been cluttering on the Internet, and it is getting difficult to find out reliable information. It is the urgent issue that people who receive information acquire the ability to identify the right piece of information.
