知識は何も書物からのみ得られるものではない。さまざまな人と話し合ったり、
いろいろな体験をしたりしても体得できる。多種多様なコミュニケーションはそれだけで新たな結合である。大切なのはいかなる話題にも対応できるような知識を持ち、それらによって混沌状態を招けるかどうかだ。
日本近代文学最大のイノベーターの一人である正岡子規は「獺祭書屋主人」と自称している。イノベーション創出を促進するには、獺祭魚が欠かせない。多種多様なコミュニケーションがなくてはイノベーションは生まれない。

Knowledge is not necessarily something one can obtain only from books. Talking with many people or experiencing things physically would also help one to gain knowledge. Wide variety of communication, by itself, provides a new connection experience. What is important is to equip the knowledge to respond to any kinds of discussion topics, and to bring a chaos into the place through that.
Shiki Masaoka, one of the prominent innovators in Japan’s modern literature, named himself “Datsusai Shooku Shujin (master of scattered books)”. Without wide variety of knowledge, innovation will not be promoted. Without wide variety of communication, there will be no innovation.
