子供はヒーローと自分を重ね合わせる事があると聞いた事がある。でも私はSF映画やアクション映画の主人公に自分を重ね合わせたことはない。しかし私はフォレスト・ガンプやサイモンバーチのジョーにはそうした事がある。決してかっこいいヒーローではないが、私は彼らが好きだった。

I've heard that children tend to combine themselves with heroes, but I've never combined myself with the hero of an action or sci-fi movie. I have, however, thought of myself that way with characters like Forest Gump or Joe from Simon Birch. They may not be "cool heroes," but I like them.
