まるでヒロキはその部屋でその日私が来るまで何年もの間眠っていたようだった。私たちは今21歳で、私たちが会わなくなってから今までの15歳から21歳までの6年間は人間にとって人生の中でも刺激的な期間であって、大きな変化をもたらすものだ。私は高校に入学して、友達関係の難しさや、いじめや、恋など、人並みにいろいろ経験した期間だった。私の身の回りにある服やかばんや部屋の模様はすっかり7年前とは別物になって、私自身も大きくなって、顔立ちも少し大人になった。

Hiroki was as though he was sleeping in his room for a few years until that day I came (to visit). We are 21 years old now and have not been seeing each other since we were 15 years old; and those 6 years, the exciting period in the life of a human being, has brought about major changes. In that period, I had entered senior high school, had hardships with friends, been bullied, fell in love and other many experiences like others have. My personal things, like my dress, my bag and even my room have changed from how they were 7 years ago, I have also grown big and my face had matured a little.
