説明：この絵は、英泉２５－３０才頃の作と云われる、まぎれもなく傑作である。
この画は手練手管にたけた中年男がうぶな娘に春画の絵巻をみせ、これから娘を自分のものにしようと左手の指先をとってひきよせている。
はじらいながらも、未知の世界への好奇心もおさえがたく、もうすぐこの男のものになるのであろうその瞬間が美しく描きだされている。
本図は、顔を全然見せない凝った構図である。不忍の池に面した料亭の二階で、侍が芸者に迫ったところ。
芸者のよじれた上半身が、生々しくも美しい。
Description
This picture is said to have been painted when Eisen was aroung 25-30 year's old. This is indisputable masterpiece.
A middle-aged man who is goot at making advances to women shows a erotic picture scroll to a innocent girl pulling her left fingertip to have sex with her. The picture evoke richly the moment which the girl might soon be persuaded by him for her irresistible curiosity to the unknown world despite of her pudeur.
The composition of the picture is elaborate, as it does not show their face at all. A Samurai is jumping on her bones on the second floor of a restaurant at Shinobazuno Pond. Geisha's twisted upper body is vivid and beautiful.
