高知から車で三時間。東京からだと半日はかかるところに、道の駅「四万十とおわ」がある。この日本の最果てにある道の駅を目的地にわざわざ人がやってくるのだ。

ここに来ると、とにかくいろんなものを買っていきたくなる。この四万十川の風景というか、空気というか、風土そのものを持って帰りたくなるようなお土産の数々。

Three hours by car from Kochi. If it's about to take half a day from Tokyo, there is a "Towa forty thousand and ten" road station. Someone comes to the road station intentionally in the farthest region of Japan.

Coming here, I feel like buying a lot of things anyway. Whether it's the landscape of Shimanto-gawa, the air, or the climate, I feel like bringing home several souvenirs like that.
