グループ８とCBN-JPは、9月14日、プリンスホテルで「都市ホテルに於けるMICEビジネスの現状と課題」をテーマにジョイントワークショップを開催する。
国内では、観光庁が2010年をMICE振興の年として、「JAPAN MICE YEAR」と位置づけて以来、関連業界や自治体が推進に力を入れて取り組んでいる。一方で都市型ホテルでは後述の声がある：“円高で宿泊だけでも確保できれば良いが、宴会場（会議室）料金は90％引きでもむずかしい”

Group 8 and CBN-JP are holding a joint workshop in the in the city located Prince Hotel with the present business conditions and challenges of the MICE business as a theme.
After the sightseeing related government offices promoted MICE domestically by calling 2010 the 'JAPAN MICE YEAR', MICE has been trying to hard to put more power into the growth of it's business relations and self-governing body.
