As a hobby, I love to tinker with my devices, from WindowsBlind on Windows XP to HTC Hero (Android). The problem is that once I have tinkered with them, there’s no place for me to share it with to the world and get appreciated for what I’ve done.

Also, wallpapers, apps, and such personalized content are usually scattered throughout the internet. Wallpapers are on DeviantArt whereas apps are over on the App Store. It is hard for users to keep track of where things are. That’s why I created MyColorscreen, so that the users can see the homescreen, love it, and get all the related content from apps to wallpapers right in one page.

Windows XPではWindowsBlindを使うことに始まり、AndroidではHTC Heroまで、趣味として私は自分のデバイスをカスタマイズするのが大好きだ。私にとって問題なのは、いったんカスタマイズしてしまうと、私の作品を世界の人々とシェアし、評価してもらうような場所がないことだ。

また、壁紙やアプリ、そしてそのような個人的にデザインしたようなコンテンツはたいてい、インターネット上に散らばってしまう。だから、壁紙はDeviantArtで、アプリだったらApp Store上で探して、それで終わりだ。物事がどこにあるのかをユーザーが追いかけるのは難しい。だから私はMyColorscreenを作った。これでユーザーはちょうど1ページ内で、待ち受け画面を見て、気に入り、そしてアプリから壁紙までの関連するコンテンツをすべて手に入れることができる。
